Overall, our service rep Joanne is good and quite efficient with us. The diagnostic assessment was also creditable. What we have learned from this latest experience is – if you are of pensionable age, you need to get the work done at a small shop and have it completed in increments. This shop wanted $900 upfront for all service issues. For an elderly person on a fixed income, this would be unaffordable and not at all doable. For the average person who is working, it would likely be ok. We like mom’s Toyota – it’s a good car but the maintenance cost needs to be divided up over several months to make it more affordable, that’s all.
