ELECTRIC MOTORS
On the XLE FWD Model, the high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack powers the electric motor that is positioned in the front of the vehicle. AWD models boast two motors, one in front and one in the rear.
e-TNGA PLATFORM
bZ uses the e-TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, that positions the battery low in the chassis, for a lower center of gravity that elevates driving dynamics and increases your sense of command and control.
X-MODE® & Grip-Control
Take your adventures further. bZ’s All-Wheel Drive system adds X-MODE®, and Grip Control engineered to help you handle tricky terrain and low-grip situations like mud and snow.

Under ideal conditions (external air temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with 150kW or above Level 3 DC Fast Charger), you can charge from 10% (Low Battery Light) to 80% in as quickly as 28 minutes although a number of variables will result in significantly longer charge times. Level 3 DC Fast Charging currently only available at public charging stations.
